Privately held insurance broker Lockton Companies expanded its St. Louis, Mo., office with the addition of Timothy George as vice president and producer.

George comes to Lockton after more than 20 years at Aon Risk Services, where he most recently served as senior director of the Mergers & Acquisitions practice.

He has received numerous accolades being named to the Aon Excellence Roundtable 2003 – 2009 and has also been named a Power Broker – Financial Institutions in 2010.

In anticipation of the previously announced retirement of Chief Operating Officer John J. Degnan on Dec. 31, 2010, John D. Finnegan, chairman, president and CEO of The Chubb Corp. announced several management appointments, effective Jan. 1, 2011:

Paul J. Krump, currently executive vice president and chief underwriting officer, will become president of Commercial and Specialty Lines. He will also assume direct responsibility for the Accident business.

Dino E. Robusto, currently executive vice president and chief administrative officer, will become president of Personal Lines and Claims. He will also continue to oversee Information Technologies, Communications, Corporate Development and Innovation.

Harold L. Morrison, executive vice president and chief global field officer, will continue in that role and will assume the additional title of chief administrative officer, in which capacity he will supervise Human Resources and Administrative Services.

The Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI) elected new officers to its Board of Governors. Robert A. DiMuccio, chairman, president and CEO, Amica Mutual Insurance Co., was elected as the association’s new chair; Donald G. Southwell, president and CEO, Unitrin, Inc., was elected first vice chair and Jonathan E. Michael, president and CEO of RLI Corp. and subsidiaries, was elected second vice chair.

NationsBuilders Insurance Services Inc., a provider of specialty construction insurance, added Robert (Rob) Edwards as Product Line manager for Concrete Pumpers to the NBIS team. He is based in Minnesota.

Edwards will lead the new concrete pumper line of business while directing marketing and developing strategy. He joins NBIS from Alliance Concrete Pumps Corp., a concrete pump manufacturer, where he held the role of director, Product Safety & Development. Prior to this role, Edwards held the position of manager, Product Safety & Publications at Schwing America Inc., a concrete pump manufacturer located in Minnesota.

Edwards has more than 30 years of concrete pumper experience and has served as president of the Concrete Pump Manufacturers Association. He also has received concretepumping.com’s Lifetime Achievement Award for constant achievement in the advancement of the concrete pumping industry.

Skip Cooper, president of AmWINS, was appointed as CEO of Colemont Global Group Ltd. (CGGL) and Colemont Insurance Brokers Ltd. (CIBL), announced the AmWins Group Inc.

Jeremy Underwood, currently non-executive director of CIBL, also returned to CIBL on a full-time basis as chairman of CIBL and will work closely with Cooper to oversee Colemont Global Group’s London and International operations.

Surinder Beerh, who formerly served as CEO of Colemont Global Group and CIBL, left to pursue other interests.

The Iowa Council of NAIW elected Debbie Theil of Iowa Mutual Insurance Co., Davenport, as Iowa Council director. Additional officers that were recently elected to the Council include: Membership Chair Robyn Railsback of AEGON, Cedar Rapids; Public Relations Chair Brenda Kluger of Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa, West Des Moines; Delegate to Regional Nominating Committee Jennifer Schepers of AEGON, Cedar Rapids; and Alternate Delegate to Regional Nominating Committee Joyce Nelson of Trissel, Graham & Toole, Davenport.
