Lee Stacey has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Britton-Gallagher & Associates Inc., one of Ohio’s largest privately owned insurance brokers. He assumes many of the current duties of Bruce H. Ball, who becomes Britton-Gallagher’s chairman.

Stacey previously was president and CEO of Willis of Ohio, an operating unit of the global insurance provider Willis Group Holdings plc. Stacey joined Willis in 2005 after having served as managing director, president and CEO of Acordia (now Wells Fargo Insurance Services) in Detroit.

United Fire & Casualty Co., based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, named East Coast Regional Office Branch Manager Ray Dudonis as vice president. Dudonis joined Mercer Insurance Group, a subsidiary of United Fire & Casualty, in 2006 as underwriting vice president. He has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA Inc. has named James S. Wylie senior vice president and managing director for its Chicago and Milwaukee offices. Based in Chicago, he will report to Keith Burkhardt, regional managing director for Wells Fargo Insurance Services’ Upper Midwest region.

Wylie has more than 25 years’ experience in insurance and employee benefits. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, he was executive vice president for Willis North America in Chicago.

Eastern Insurance Holdings Inc. (EIHI) announced that Mort Large joined Eastern Alliance Insurance Group (EAIG) as the regional business executive for the Midwest territory. Mike Michael, the current regional business executive, retires from the company in September 2011. EAIG’s Midwest regional office is located in Carmel, Ind.

Large has more than 20 years’ experience in the commercial insurance industry. He most recently served as vice president, underwriting operations and vice president, corporate underwriting, for Employers Insurance.

Aon Risk Solutions has appointed Clyde Ebanks as chief operating officer of the Aon Global Client Network and Bruce Wineman as Aon Global Client Network senior managing director for the U.S. and Canada.

Ebanks is in Chicago; Wineman is based in New York.

Ebanks has 20 years of experience in the industry. Prior to his current position, he led multiple regions and offices and served as COO of the network in the U.S.

Wineman has 30 years of industry experience and was previously co-chief operating officer for the Western region of the U.S. for the Aon Global Client Network.

XL Insurance has made six key appointments to its North America Construction team.

Lawrence Lejfer is vice president and senior underwriter for construction professional liability in New York. Raymond Allen is assistant vice president and senior underwriter for construction professional liability in New York. Michael Baxter is vice president of property in XL’s Toronto office. Jim Richert is risk engineer for subcontractor default insurance in New York. Mark Kulas is senior underwriter for construction property in XL’s Chicago office. Nancy Rummel is vice president and executive underwriter in construction primary casualty and is based in Indianapolis, Ind.

Michigan-based Amerisure Mutual Insurance Co. announced that Nancy J. Fournier, corporate insurance coordinator, was named International Risk Management Professional of the Year by the International Association of Insurance Professionals. Fournier has been with Amerisure for more than 11 years.

The award acknowledges a risk management professional who has demonstrated knowledge and leadership in the field, along with professional advancement through educational pursuits and active participation in association-sponsored activities.
