Charleston, South Carolina-based managing general agency Johnson & Johnson has named Cathy Parmley as vice president of operations. As vice president of operations, she will supervise the company’s internal policy workflows and allocation of resources for both commercial and personal lines of business.

Parmley has 20 years of experience with Johnson & Johnson, most recently serving as vice president of personal lines, overseeing habitation, high valued homes, manufactured housing and marine/recreational vehicles business lines.

Johnson & Johnson serves agents in 18 states.

Aspen U.S. Insurance said George Kotsiopoulos has joined as vice president, Broker Relationship leader. Reporting to Robert Rheel, executive vice president, U.S. Head of Property & Casualty, he will be based in New York and responsible for strategic broker relationships on a regional and national level across Aspen’s U.S. Insurance footprint.

Kotsiopoulos joins Aspen U.S. Insurance with underwriting and distribution experience from previous positions at Zurich and AIG.

Insurance broker Marsh has named Dean Klisura as head of the firm’s newly created Global Placement organization. Klisura will oversee all insurance placement activities, including wholesale, retail, specialty, quote share, and other placement facilities, which have been brought together under one organization.

Since joining Marsh more than 20 years ago, Klisura had held several senior roles including global leader of Marsh’s FINPRO Practice and global placement leader for FINPRO. Prior to this new role, he served as U.S. Risk Practices and Specialties leader. Klisura will retain his current responsibilities until a successor is named.

In addition, Marsh said Christopher Lang has been appointed U.S. Placement leader. In this new role, Lang will execute the U.S. placement strategy in alignment with the new Global Placement organization, which oversees all retail, wholesale, and specialty placement across the firm. Additionally, he will lead Marsh’s U.S. Innovation Council, which creates new products and increased capacity for clients in key risk areas.

Prior to his new role, Lang was Marsh’s global relationship officer for American International Group, following several years as US FINPRO Placement Practice leader.

Lang will report to Klisura. Klisura will report to John Drzik, president of Global Risk and Specialties at Marsh.
