Willis North America appointed Joe Peiser as head of Casualty Broking.

In this newly created role, Peiser will be responsible for the strategic direction of Willis North America’s casualty insurance offerings including workers’ comp, primary and excess casualty, product recall and international casualty products. Since September 2014, Peiser has been serving as a strategic insurance market advisor with Willis Capital Markets and Advisory. Based in New York, Peiser has 28 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Insurance broker Lockton promoted Chip Manozzi to executive vice president and leader of its Boston office. Manozzi also will join the executive committee of Lockton’s Northeast operations.

Lockton said Manozzi will lead both business development and recruiting efforts for its Boston operation. Manozzi joined Lockton from Wells Fargo Insurance Services in 2013 as senior vice president and a founding member of Lockton’s Boston operation. He has worked in commercial insurance for more than 30 years.

Cross Insurance, an independent agency headquartered in Bangor, Maine, hired Paul J. Cellucci as president of the agency’s Southern New England Region.

Cellucci will be responsible for expanding the Cross brand through managing a group of selected agencies spread throughout southern New England.

A former senior vice president at a large regional insurance agency, Cellucci also held the position of vice president at Global Insurance in Massachusetts.

ANE (Agency Network Exchange LLC) in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey, hired Beth Snyder Simpson as vice president, Agency Recruitment and Development. She is based in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Simpson has worked with insurers including United States Liability Insurance Group, Arthur Hall Insurance, CIGNA Property and Casualty, and Chubb and Son.

Hub International Northeast, a division of Hub International Limited, hired Lynn Killeen as first vice president of Private Client Services.

Based out of the firm’s New York City and Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, offices, Killeen will work within Hub’s existing Family Office and Private Client business groups.

Most recently, she was national director and practice leader of Family Services at Willis.
