Nationwide independent wholesaler All Risks Ltd. has added Steve Skaletsky to its Jupiter, Fla., office as a casualty broker. Skaletsky will target commercial risks in Florida and throughout the Gulf Coast, providing competitive general liability, professional, liquor, pollution and excess liability coverages.

Most recently, Skaletsky was an underwriter at Dual Commercial LLC, a program manager in Naples, Fla., where he was active in their real estate program; underwriting a variety of coverages for apartments and condominiums, as well as excess for real estate owners. Skaletsky’s industry experience includes time on the carrier, retail agency and wholesale sides of the business.

Lighthouse Property Insurance Corp. has hired George Trunk as senior marketing representative of both North and South Carolina.

Trunk comes to Lighthouse with 28 years of experience in the insurance industry having served in claims, corporate training, risk management and marketing roles during the course of his career. Most recently he served as the South Carolina territory marketing manager for ASI and has held positions with several other carriers including Seibels Bruce Insurance Co., Nationwide and Selective Insurance Co.

Trunk’s primary responsibility will be expanding the force of independent insurance agents using Lighthouse and marketing Lighthouse throughout the states of South Carolina and North Carolina.

The Main Street America Group announced that Darryl Osman, the company’s director of personal lines product management and market research, has been appointed as an assistant secretary of the organization, which is an officer-level role.

Osman is responsible for managing Main Street America’s personal lines product areas – including its homeowners, private passenger auto and commercial umbrella insurance programs – and also oversees the market research and competitive analysis functions for personal lines.

Osman reports to Debbie Murphy, vice president/head of personal lines, and is based at its corporate headquarters in Jacksonville, Fla.

Prior to joining Main Street America as a personal lines product manager in 2011, Osman was a product management director at Fireman’s Fund. He also held product management roles at Zurich North America and Allstate.

The Crichton Group, an independent insurance agency in Tennessee, has added five new employees to its team: Beth McKay, has been named new benefits administration supervisor; Jeff Corvin, has been named account manager in the construction unit; Debbie Pardue, has joined as a property/casualty account manager assistant; Meredith Parker, has joined as a new property/casualty account manager assistant; and Hailey Reynolds, has joined as new benefits administrator.

Previously, McKay served as a benefits manager for the Southern Land Co. LLC for seven years. She is also a former director of operations and customer services for Health Cost Solutions, and has served as a claims manager with Vanderbilt Management Service.

As an account manager, Corvin will help lead the agency’s risk management group. Prior to this position, he served as an account manager with Anderson Benson Insurance & Risk Management. In addition, he previously worked for The Crichton Group as a risk management account manager for three years. He has also worked for the RLH Agency and First Horizon Insurance Group.

As a P/C account manager assistant, Pardue will support the agency’s property/casualty insurance line. Prior to this position, Pardue served as a marketing/sales development specialist with BB&T Insurance Services for 11 years. In addition, she spent four years with Gresham & Associates as a broker assistant and six years with Willis Corp.

Parker will support the agency’s risk management team as P/C account manager assistant. Prior to joining the Crichton Group, Parker spent four years with Zurich North America in customer service/sales. In addition, she spent two years as an account manager with Johnson & Bryan Inc. and two years with Ace Westchester Fire Insurance Co. as an underwriter assistant.

New benefits administrator Reynolds will be responsible for planning and coordinating the operations for group benefits programs. Prior to this position, Reynolds held roles at Aon Hewitt and Nextep Inc.
