CoVerica Agency Alliance, based in Dallas, added Chris Sterlacci as regional vice president. Sterlacci will help enroll new partners and support existing members with building more profitable and successful agencies.

The CoVerica Agency Alliance is a strategic partner of SIAA (Strategic Agency Alliance) North Texas.

Bob Gilliland of Oklahoma City was named chairman of the Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation Commission, succeeding Troy Wilson, who resigned effective May 31.

Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin appointed Dr. LeRoy Young of Oklahoma City to replace Wilson on the commission, and named Mark Liotta of Sapulpa to succeed outgoing Commissioner Denise Engle.

Southwest Risk LP named Jennifer Flake vice president and broker of transportation. Flake is based in Southwest Risk’s new Fort Worth, Texas, office.

Flake began her insurance career in 1997 in direct marketing and has worked with both retail and wholesale firms.

Southwest Risk added Robin Page as a vice president and broker in Dallas.

Page began his insurance career with Chubb in 1973 as a property, inland marine and package underwriter. He also has worked for A&A Shreveport and owned an agency, Murphy Page, based in Dallas.

Maryland-based independent insurance wholesaler All Risks Ltd. added Thomas Maldonado in its Dallas as a senior underwriter for national specialty programs.

He will assist All Risks business partners in placing REO and lender placed risks for residential and commercial properties and Collateral Protection (CPI), targeting south central states such as Texas and Louisiana, as well as the western United States.

Maldonado has 10 years of insurance industry experience and an additional five years in the mortgage servicing industry.

Tiffany Way, with All Risks Ltd., has been installed as president of the Austin Association of Insurance Professionals.

Other newly installed 2015/16 AAIP officers and directors are: President-Elect Janie Frias, Risk Placement Services; Vice President Lauren Pearson, McGowan, Donnelly & Oberheu LLC; Recording Secretary Rhonda Bowles, Service Lloyd’s; and Treasurer Melissa Reed, IIAT.

Way also received the AAIP 2014/15 Insurance Professional of the Year award.
