Florida-based The Villages Insurance has added Naomi Peeples to its Mulberry Grove location. Peeples, formerly located in the Agency’s Spanish Springs office, is a state certified Personal Lines advisor specializing in home, auto and golf car insurance needs.

Peeples began her career in the insurance industry over 12 years ago and after working at AAA insurance agency she joined The Villages Insurance team in September 2014.

The Villages Insurance has eight locations and provides insurance and risk management to over 40,000 families and businesses in and around The Villages community.

Florida-Based Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners (BKS-Partners), has appointed Amy Ingram as managing director of the Commercial Risk Management Group.

Ingram joins BKS-Partners with more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Most recently, Ingram served as senior vice president, North America Commercial Insurance, managing the Clean Technology industry segment for the Chubb insurance company. There she was responsible for the strategic development and execution of commercial clean tech business strategy globally.

Prior to that role, Ingram served as the commercial manager for Chubb’s Southeast Region, including their international, technology, property, marine and middle market underwriting teams.

As Commercial Risk managing director and member of the BKS leadership team, Ingram leads the Commercial Risk Management Group, specializing in sales, account management, risk mitigation, marketing, and analysis.

SUNZ Insurance Co., based in Sarasota, Fla., has hired Russell S. Whittle as the company’s in-house general counsel. Whittle will be responsible for corporate governance as it relates to contracts, regulatory compliance and general corporate matters for SUNZ. In addition, he will assist with the legal oversight of the claim administration process.

With more than 20 years of experience in the workers’ compensation area, Whittle has served as defense counsel for employers and carriers, and has provided legal guidance with respect to Medicare Set-Asides and Mandatory Insurer Reporting compliance. He is also experienced in drafting and reviewing a variety of corporate legal contracts including those pertaining to federal, state and local statutes and regulations regarding Medicare and healthcare.

SUNZ Insurance Co. provides workers’ compensation products for professional employer organizations, staffing companies and large companies.

Fine art specialist Sarah Johnson Court has joined Alliant Insurance Services as vice president servicing high-net-worth clients globally while assisting with the expansion of Alliant’s reach within the fine art sector. She will be based in Miami.

Johnson Court has experience handling the risk associated with fine art collections and working with high-net-worth individuals, celebrities, and athletes to insure homes, yachts, wine collections, private planes, and other high-value items. She also offers consulting and expertise in life insurance, kidnap and ransom, event cancelation, and other related areas.

Prior to joining Alliant, Johnson Court was director of the Global Fine Art Practice of an international insurance brokerage firm advising on corporate and private collections around world. She also spent six years in London working with several private and commercial collections, where she was a Lloyd’s of London broker.

Alliant Insurance Services, Inc. provides property and casualty, workers’ compensation, employee benefits, surety, and financial products and services nationwide.

MarketScout, the national electronic insurance exchange and specialty MGA headquartered in Dallas, has expanded its Workers’ Compensation division by adding three insurance professionals in San Francisco, Las Vegas and Atlanta.

Jonathan Maloney will be based in Atlanta and joins MarketScout as a workers’ compensation broker. Prior to joining MarketScout, Maloney was the director of sales and marketing for the RAM Companies in Kennesaw, Ga., where he specialized in hard to place workers’ compensation accounts, and managed the RAM’s workers’ compensation business in 35 states. In his new role, Maloney will focus his efforts on growing the workers’ compensation offerings in the Southeastern region.

Other hires include Taylor Gardner who will be based in Las Vegas and joins MarketScout as business development manager for the Western region; as well as Don Osuna, who will be based in San Francisco and joins MarketScout with over 20 years of insurance industry experience as a workers’ compensation broker in the California market.
