TDECU, based in Lake Jackson, Texas, has added Deana Wooley to the team at TDECU Insurance Agency LLC.

Wooley will be responsible for serving members in the Gulf Coast region, specializing in personal lines insurance. A licensed agent, she has more than 25 years of insurance industry experience.

Founded in 1955, TDECU is a not-for-profit financial cooperative with more than 240,000 members and $2.9 billion in assets.

LevelFirst, a wholesale broker and MGA. appointed Bryan Revett as assistant vice president.

He assumes the responsibility of brokering new business opportunities within the wholesale brokerage and MGA business units.

Most recently, Revett was executive vice president of business development at Brazos Specialty Risk, where he served for more than five years.

Revett has more than 30 years of experience in business-to-business sales.

LevelFirst is owned by IIAT Services Co.

Texas Commissioner of Insurance David Mattax reappointed five members to serve on the Fair Access to Insurance Requirements (FAIR) Plan Governing Committee.

The FAIR Plan provides residential property insurance in underserved areas where it’s not readily available through the private market.

The following members were reappointed for terms to expire June 16, 2018: Christina Ford of Richardson; Deborah King of Highland Village; Wendy Mueller of Austin; Georgia Neblett of Port Aransas; and Edward Sherlock of Beaumont.

Fidelis Group Holdings LLC (FGH), a maritime insurance provider headquartered in Louisiana, together with its subsidiary, Continental Underwriters Ltd., hired John Kirchhofer as vice president of its marine division.

Kirchhofer will be responsible for expanding the group’s brown water hull and primary marine liability geographical footprint as it works to grow its national portfolio of marine products. In his new role, Kirchhofer will report to H. Elder Brown Jr., chairman of FGH, and will be based in the group’s New York City office.

Kirchhofer brings more than 20 years of marine industry experience to his new role. He most recently served as national hull manager and senior underwriter at XL Catlin. Prior to that, he was vice president at RLI Marine.
