Financial Pacific Insurance Group announced that A.M. Best affirmed a rating of “A-” for its principal operating subsidiary Financial Pacific Insurance Company. Financial Pacific Insurance Co. is a Rocklin, Calif.-based property/casualty insurer which focuses on small commercial risks in California, Nevada, Oregon and other Western states.
The rating was due in part to management’s emphasis on strict underwriting control, focus on specialty niches mostly in rural markets, exemplary service and strong agency relationships as stated in Best’s Rating Rationale. Financial Pacific has maintained an “A-” rating dating back to 1997.
