Hardy Good, chairman and CEO of MiniCo Inc., was recently honored as Employer of the Year by the Insurance Women of Phoenix, Inc. (IWOP), an affiliate of the National Association of Insurance Women, Intl. (NAIW). Good received the award during the organization’s 48th annual industry appreciation breakfast, held May 22, 2002.
IWOP president Juanita Cartwright, presided over the event. IWOP provides opportunities for continuing education and communication among Phoenix-based insurance professionals.
During the awards ceremony, Good was recognized for his long-standing support of IWOP and NAIW and for his encouragement of the MiniCo, Inc. employees involved with the organizations. The award citation also praised his many accomplishments as a leader and innovator providing insurance for self-storage businesses and their customers.
Upon accepting the award, Good voiced his appreciation for IWOP’s dedication to professional education and team building and noted the importance of these skills to the future success of the ever-changing insurance industry.
Suzanne Garrett, a member of MiniCo Inc.’s insurance claims staff was also honored as Claims Professional of the Year.
Garrett was recognized for her professionalism and dedication to the insurance claims industry. The award citation also praised her efforts as a member of IWOP as well as her participation in numerous NAIW-sponsored educational events.
