Fiserv FSC, a unit of Fiserv Inc., has introduced GatewayFSC, a multi-state rating engine that enables financial services organizations to deliver accurate auto and homeowner insurance rates to their customers in a Web-based environment. GatewayFSC was created specifically for financial institutions, insurance companies, Internet insurance lead referral and portal development companies, and independent insurance agencies.
GatewayFSC is designed to be used on a client’s own server and can accommodate single-state and simultaneous multi-state rating sessions. In addition, the rating engine can support multi-lingual user interface solutions and has the capability to utilize complete rate/pay/bind technology. It offers the following features: True client/server application; rates automobile and homeowners’ insurance; rates products nationwide; rate and underwriting rules are continually and automatically updated by FSC.
