The Insurance Brokers Association for the State of New York (IBANY) elected its 2001-2002 administration during the association’s annual membership meeting.
Kenneth M. Padgett was re-elected to his second term as IBANY president. He is the managing director at Marsh USA Inc., and has been an IBANY member for several years. He has served as the IBANY executive vice president and as a member of the Government Affairs Committee.
Dick Impastato was re-elected to his second term as executive VP. Impastato is the president and COO of Foa & Son Corp., and a member of IBANY’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee. He has also served as chairman of the Government Affairs, Membership and Professional Development, Special Events and Centennial committees.
Donald F. Privett was re-elected to a second term as secretary/treasurer of IBANY. Privett is the president and owner of Privett Special Risk Services LLC and has been a IBANY member since 1987.
Debra Baldwin, Richard Marx and Lee A. Orabona were re-elected to the board of directors during the annual meeting as well. Baldwin is a director with Herbert L. Jamison & Co. LLC and is a member of Atlantic Mutual’s Local Agency Council. Marx has been a IBANY board of directors member for 15 years and is president of Professional Coverage Managers Inc. Orabona is president and COO New Century Global and was instrumental in creating New Century Global, a wholesale MGA .
