The Maryland Insurance Administration has granted a license to Baltimore’s American Skyline Insurance Co. to commence business in the State.
Skyline, a property/casualty insurer specializing in home and automobile coverage for the residents of big cities, where rates are usually high, said it would begin signing agency contracts immediately.
It has also applied for a license to operate in Washington D.C., and hopes to begin operations there by August.
