The Garden City Group, Inc. (GCG), a subsidiary of Crawford & Company, headquartered in Melville NY, has received the BOLI (Best on Long Island) award for its Web site, www.gardencitygroup.com.
The yearly competition, sponsored by the Long Island Ad Club, recognizes excellence in regional advertising. There were a total of 1,239 entries in this year’s competition, and 84 awards were presented at the 29th annual event. Industry professionals, acting as judges, chose the GCG Web site as the winner in the “Internet: Independent” category.
“It’s very rewarding to have industry professionals recognize the merits of the GCG Web site. Since the site went live, less than a year ago, it has proven to be a very effective and well received marketing tool,” stated Michael J. Sherin, GCG chairman. “We have had a positive response from prospective clients and firms that have a long history with the company. The BOLI award, judged by industry leaders, validates our feedback.”
