The Professional Insurance Agents of Connecticut announced that Diane L. Eger, VP of Orange Insurance Center in Orange, will receive the organization’s ” Professional Agent of the Year award” at this year’s PIACT convention, to be held at the Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Mashantucket, March 18-19, 2002.
“The Agent of the Year award goes to an agent who has demonstrated excellence and achievement in insurance marketing and service, has shown a personal commitment to professionalism and has contributed to PIA and the community,” said the bulletin.
“Eger has been involved with PIACT since 1980. She has served on the Association Programs Committee and is currently serving a three-year term as a member of the PIACT Board of Directors,” it continued. She also serves on the board for Applied Systems Users Group and is currently working toward her CPCU designation.
“I am honored to be recognized by PIACT for my work in the industry and for doing something I have enjoyed throughout my life,” Eger stated. “It is truly an honor to receive such a distinguished title as Agent of the Year.”
“Throughout her career, Diane Eger has demonstrated a deep level of dedication to our industry. She has earned the respect and trust of her colleagues and customers,” stated Jim Pascarella, president of PIACT. “It was a privilege for me to name Diane for this prodigious award.”
