Risk Enterprise Management Limited (REM) announced that one of its run-off clients, Home Insurance Company (The Home), was placed into voluntary Rehabilitation pursuant to an Order of Rehabilitation by the Superior Court of New Hampshire.
The Order appoints New Hampshire Insurance Commissioner Paula Rogers as Rehabilitator of The Home, a New Hampshire domiciled insurance company. The Home has been operating under a 1995 Consent Order and an Order of Supervision issued by the New Hampshire Insurance Department on March 3, 1997. REM will continue to provide services to The Home under the direction of the Rehabilitator.
According to Peter Johnson, chairman and CEO of REM, “We look forward to supporting the New Hampshire Insurance Commissioner as Rehabilitator of The Home, and to continuing to provide our services under the Rehabilitator’s direction. The Order of Rehabilitation related to The Home will have no effect on any other REM clients, who will continue to receive superior Third Party Administrative service from REM’s work force throughout the United States.”
