ACE-USA ESIS Unit Launches International Safety Academy

March 17, 2003

ESIS, Inc., the risk management services arm of ACE USA, and Syntrio, Inc., a provider of complete online training solutions, announced the launch of the “International Safety Academy (ISA) e-Learning, a web-based risk management training solution.”

The new system is designed to “help ESIS clients proactively educate employees on risk management issues. ISA e-Learning will provide access to Syntrio’s learning management systems and risk management library including OSHA health and safety and employment law compliance courses,” said the bulletin. It will ultimately help clients and employees reduce exposure to loss and mitigate potential damages.

“Powered by Syntrio, International Safety Academy e-Learning provides a powerful risk management tool to ESIS clients. These web-based health and safety courses, ranging from office ergonomics to fall protection, will aid ESIS clients in preventing on-the-job injuries and reducing Workers’ Compensation insurance costs,” stated John Ingram, vice president of ESIS Risk Control Services.

ISA e-Learning will “leverage Syntrio’s ability to quickly implement online training solutions and risk management courseware, providing ESIS clients with the ability to rapidly deploy web-based risk management training programs, resulting in reduced training-related travel and entertainment expenses,” the bulletin continued.

It explained that “Syntrio’s learning management systems effectively track employee training, enabling ESIS clients to determine employee completion and success rates, and identify at-risk employees for further training.”
