The Pennsylvania Medical Society, which provides health care coverage to the state’s medical community through its Insurance Agency operation, announced that Denise Secret Hughey has joined the company as a Senior Insurance Analyst.
“Secret Hughey has an extensive background in the operational and clinical aspects of health insurance, and most recently served as an Account Executive for the Pennsylvania Chamber Insurance,” said the bulletin. “She has worked in management positions for several health care providers, and has extensive case management consulting experience, supervising nurses and vocational specialists to ensure quality reporting in the workers compensation insurance industry.”
Roger F. Mecum, Executive Vice President stated, “Denise brings real-life insurance experience to our members. Having provided benefit consultation for businesses across the state, she will be able to provide our members with the service and advice they need and deserve. Her healthcare background, including experience working for providers, brings our members a unique understanding of the health insurance pressures they face and this will equate into improved products and service.”
