IWIF, a Maryland provider of workers’ compensation insurance, has introduced a new interactive feature to its policyholder seminar lineup.
Business owners, IWIF policyholders and independent insurance agents will now be able to enjoy a fully interactive experience at IWIF seminars using a hand-held audience response keypad. Attendees can respond to questions and see their answers appear on screen within seconds during each seminar.
All seminars provide attendees with useful information about keeping premiums affordable through effective claims management, loss control, underwriting, fighting fraud, hiring practices, and legal issues, including a mock workers’ comp hearing trial.
IWIF’s management team will be available to answer questions. In addition, employers will learn how to better communicate the importance of workplace safety and the claims management process to non-English speaking workers.
All seminars are free and scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Seating is limited, therefore, reservations are required and may be made by calling Keith Brown at 1-800-264-IWIF, ext. 2180. Or, reserve space by e-mailing kbrown@iwif.com.
