MacArthur of York Insurance Services Named N.J. Entrepreneur of Year

July 12, 2005

Tom MacArthur, chairman and chief executive officer of York Insurance Services Group, Inc., was named winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2005 award in the New Jersey region in the business services category.

Winners were selected by an independent panel of judges comprised of local business, academic and community leaders and announced on June 23, 2005 at the Marriott at Glenpointe in Teaneck, N.J.

The Entrepreneur of the Year awards program was created by Ernst & Young LLP almost 20 years ago. It recognizes outstanding
entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic and growing businesses. The program honors entrepreneurs through regional, national and international award programs in over 100 cities and 35
countries.

York has provided third party claims administration services to the insurance industry since the 1930s. When MacArthur arrived at York in 1999, he realized the company needed to define a new vision. During
his tenure, York has grown to become a leading insurance services provider, with revenues and earnings more than tripling.

The company has established new businesses in the industry specific and government programs markets, as well as in the licensed private investigation, recovery, environmental consulting, retail logistics and large/complex loss adjusting markets.

York is among a limited number of companies with national reach and
prides itself as being the most flexible.

“Our objective in all we do is to protect our client’s interest – their money, their relationships and their reputation,” said MacArthur. ” We understand the insurance services arena and focus on developing
programs for specific industries.”

MacArthur is now eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2005 national program, which will be announced in Palm Springs, Calif., in November 2005.
