Tom Considine has been nominated as New Jersey’s banking and insurance commissioner.
Considine, a MetLife vice president, was named to the job by incoming Gov. Chris Christie. Christie praised Considine for his extensive government relations and financial services experience.
The post is subject to Senate confirmation.
