Maine-based Acadia Insurance Co. has named Leonard J. Ryer as its new regional vice president for the insurer’s New Hampshire operations.
Ryer will help to develop and monitor the overall underwriting, marketing, loss control and claims strategies for the New Hampshire office and will also be responsible for management and development of the agency force including coordination of relationships with other specialty business units such as Marine and Agribusiness.
Prior to joining Acadia, Ryer was regional vice president of the The Hanover’s New England personal lines operation. He previously held several executive positions with OneBeacon Insurance Group
