Pittsburgh-based Allied Insurance Brokers has rebranded its wholesale brokerage division as Ascinsure Specialty Risk, which will specialize on insurance solutions for crane owners and operators, rental equipment and party goods dealers, scaffolding and inland marine markets.
“Our broker department has always operated independently of our retail side so it just made sense to differentiate them with a unique name and logo,” said President Marty O’Brien.
Ascinsure said it has added a packaged GL/Auto program offered through an AM Best “A” rated carrier exclusive to its crane program. The program’s highlights include admitted-general liability, riggers liability coverage outside of per occurrence limits and mobile equipment pollution sudden and accidental coverage with limits higher than industry standard.
Most of Ascinsure’s programs offer exclusive access to AM Best “A” (Excellent) rated insurers. Ascinsure also offers aggressive pricing and an attractive commission schedule, the company said.
