CMIC, a Connecticut-based medical professional liability insurer, has promoted Michael F. Morgan to vice president of Business Development.
Morgan’s responsibilities include the development and promotion of professional liability solutions for health care professionals and hospitals throughout New England. He joined CMIC in 1989. He served as CMIC’s litigation manager before moving to Darwin Professional Underwriters as claims manager in 2004.
He returned to CMIC as director of Massachusetts Operations in 2007 to assist in the company’s expansion into the state of Massachusetts. Morgan’s experience and contributions to CMIC led to his promotion to director of Business Development in 2008.
