Ames & Gough, an insurance broker and risk management consultant serving design professionals, law firms and other professional organizations, promoted Tom Marchetti to vice president from assistant vice president.
In his new role, Marchetti will lead the firm’s practice serving associations and non-profits, along with additional responsibilities for client service and business development. He is based in the firm’s McLean, Va., office.
Since joining the firm as a client executive in 2010, he worked with the Ames & Gough property/casualty operation to expand the firm’s capabilities and broaden its expertise in areas such as builders risk, property insurance, and workers’ compensation. He was promoted to assistant vice president in 2011. Previously, Marchetti was with United Insurance Consultants (UIC), an insurance and risk management advisory firm in New Jersey.
