Eastern Insurance in Massachusetts Announces New Appointments

Eastern Insurance Group in Massachusetts has added five new executives to its team of more than 300 employees.

Gregory Grintchenko has joined Eastern as senior vice president, personal lines sales manager. Grintchenko, of Milford, Mass., is responsible for developing and growing Eastern’s personal lines book of business. Prior to joining Eastern, he worked at MetLife and was responsible for agent growth, profitability and management in Massachusetts and Vermont.

Anthony J. Murphy has been named senior vice president, employee benefits sales executive. Murphy, of Hudson, Mass., is primarily responsible for growing Eastern’s share of the employee benefits business in the middle market. Prior to joining Eastern Benefit Group, he spent seven years working at Tufts Health Plan as a senior sales executive.

David James has been named assistant vice president, personal lines sales executive. James, of Chelmsford, Mass., is responsible for growing Eastern’s personal lines book of business and strengthening customer relationships. He will be working closely with Eastern Bank employees to spread awareness about Eastern Insurance’s products and services. Prior to joining Eastern, he spent time at Liberty Mutual and MetLife.

J. Christopher Madden has been named assistant vice president, personal lines sales executive. Madden, of Waltham, Mass., will be working on developing sales leads and growing Eastern’s personal lines book of business. Prior to joining Eastern, he worked at MetLife in its sales division.

Monica Quintal has been named assistant vice president, personal lines sales executive. Quintal, of Methuen, Mass., is responsible for growing Eastern’s personal lines business by working closely with staffers at several Eastern Bank branches. She is fluent in Spanish and joined Eastern Insurance from Liberty Mutual.

Eastern Insurance Group, headquartered in Natick, Mass., is a subsidiary of Eastern Bank.
