
Insurance broker Lockton has promoted Chip Manozzi to executive vice president and leader of its Boston office. Manozzi also will join the executive committee of Lockton’s Northeast operations.
Lockton said Manozzi will lead both business development and recruiting efforts for its Boston operation. He will also help shape the direction of Lockton’s business as the firm continues its New England expansion, Lockton said.
Manozzi joined Lockton from Wells Fargo Insurance Services in 2013 as senior vice president and a founding member of Lockton’s Boston operation. He has worked in risk management and commercial insurance for more than 30 years, advising multi-national clients.
Manozzi’s expertise includes development of captive insurance companies, alternative risk finance, and collateral funding alternatives. Manozzi has held a number of senior positions at major brokerage houses in Boston and elsewhere in the U.S.
More than 5,300 professionals at Lockton provide 41,000 clients around the world with risk management, insurance, and employee benefits consulting services.
