SterlingRisk Insurance, a Woodbury, N.Y.-based independently owned insurance brokerage, has hired Kenneth J. Jones as vice president.
Jones brings more than 30 years of experience to SterlingRisk, meeting the needs of clients in business, not-for-profit and professional communities.
He started his career with a Long Island, N.Y., insurance firm. He then opened his own agency, later selling his business and working with a national agency. His concentrations include construction, real estate and the not-for-profit sector, working to reduce client exposures and lower costs.
Founded in 1932 with offices in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, California and Indiana, SterlingRisk services regional, national and international clients. The company has experience in multiple areas, including property and casualty, aviation, environmental, construction, employee benefits consulting, personal lines, risk management, loss control and claims advocacy.
