Burns & Wilcox Brokerage, a distinct business unit of H.W. Kaufman Group solely dedicated to wholesale insurance brokerage, has hired Anthony Greene to its leadership team.
Greene joins the Burns & Wilcox Brokerage team as vice president and broker and is based in the New York office. He reports to Denis Brady, president of Burns & Wilcox Brokerage.
In this leadership role, Greene is responsible for the growth of Burns & Wilcox Brokerage within the Northeast. Building on existing synergies across the team, he will help create solutions and design specialized programs for retail brokers and agents.
Greene brings more than 10 years of experience within the excess casualty and construction space to his new role. Prior to joining Burns & Wilcox Brokerage, Greene worked with Turner Surety and Insurance Brokerage as a senior risk advisor, where he was responsible for new business development of Wrap-Up programs.
He has also held positions with Aon CSG as vice president of Excess Casualty overseeing all Excess Construction placements for the Greater New York region, and AIG, where he managed its Excess Construction business.
