Conner Strong & Buckelew, an insurance, risk management and employee benefits brokerage and consulting firm, has hired Thomas Trullinger as senior vice president of Mergers and Acquisitions. He will be based in the firm’s Camden, N.J., headquarters.
In this role, Trullinger will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities through acquisitions to help expand the firm’s geographic footprint. Supporting Conner Strong & Buckelew’s President and CEO Mike Tiagwad, Trullinger will perform in-depth analyses of companies being considered, as well as assist with post-merger activities including integration efforts.
With the addition of Trullinger, Conner Strong & Buckelew will accelerate its efforts to expand its current offering and geographic footprint through acquisitions.
Trullinger brings more than 20 years of industry experience to Conner Strong & Buckelew. Previously, he was an area executive of the Mid-Atlantic Area for Zurich North America. In this role, he served in a leadership position focusing on financial results, broker development and customer relationships.
Separately, Conner Strong & Buckelew has hired Patrick Keating as vice president and chief security officer based in its Camden, N.J., headquarters.
His primary responsibility will be managing the development and implementation of security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security across the firm. Additionally, Keating will oversee the contracts and performance of security vendors who safeguard the company’s assets, intellectual property and computer systems, as well as the physical safety of its employees and visitors.
Keating brings more than 15 years of relevant experience and specializes in driving cybersecurity culture throughout an organization. His recent experience includes serving as the chief information security officer at the Philadelphia Airport.
