Brown Thayer Shedd Insurance Agency (BTS Insurance Agency), a Darien, Connecticut-based division of Cross Insurance, has rebranded as Cross Private Client Insurance (CPCI).

BTS, operating under the new name Cross Private Client Insurance, will become the flagship personal insurance advisory brand alongside Cross Insurance. With this change, a new Cross co-branded logo will be launched.
This rebranding strategy will heighten the focus of the successful families and individuals demographic Brown Thayer Shedd has provided asset protection to for many decades, according to a Cross Insurance press release.
Following the rebrand, CPCI Darien will continue to advise its new and existing client base. CPCI Ridgefield was established to provide personal risk advisory service. CPCI Palm Beach’s fully staffed location aims to offer products and services for new and existing CPCI clients that own assets in Florida and the Islands. BTS Insurance Agency President Tim Brown will continue to maintain offices in New Canaan, Connecticut, under the current entity name.
