NFP Hires Terracciano to Risk Management and Complex Risk Practice

NFP, an insurance broker and consultant that provides property/casualty, corporate benefits, retirement and individual solutions, hired Robert Terracciano as a senior vice president in its risk management and complex risk practice.

Terracciano joins NFP from Willis of New York Inc., where he served as executive vice president for mergers and acquisitions in its national casualty practice. Prior to that, he worked in complex casualty and risk analysis roles at Marsh and Aon and as a managing principal at Integro Insurance Brokers.

In total, he brings more than 30 years of experience helping clients across industries to identify and mitigate complex risks. Terracciano will report to Sean Hickey, senior vice president for risk management and complex risk at NFP.

Alliant Insurance Services Hires Ballan in New York

Alliant Insurance Services hired veteran tax lawyer Harry Ballan, former partner at Davis Polk and Wardwell LLP, as senior transaction risk consultant for mergers and acquisitions. He is based in New York.

Ballan will specialize in providing transactional risk solutions to private equity firms, corporate clients and alternative asset investors and will help clients around the globe insure their most challenging transactional risks.

Prior to joining Alliant, Ballan served as a tax partner and senior counsel at Davis Polk, where he advised clients on cross-border mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions, private fund formation and transactions and tax controversy.

In addition, he has been a professor in NYU’s LL.M. program, a law school dean and a senior director of a private foundation.

RT Specialty Hires Quinn to Environmental and Construction Professional Practice

Evan Quinn joined the environmental and construction professional (ECP) practice of RT Specialty as an account administrator. He is responsible for aiding the account management and policy servicing activities performed by the team’s senior management.

Prior to RT ECP, Quinn supported the underwriting efforts of EMC Insurance in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.

RT Environmental and Construction Professional (RT ECP) is a part of the RT Specialty division of RSG Specialty LLC, a Delaware limited liability company based in Illinois. RSG Specialty LLC is a subsidiary of Ryan Specialty Group LLC. RT ECP provides wholesale insurance brokerage and other services to agents and brokers.
