Student Insurance, a Venbrook subsidiary and part of Venbrook Benefits, headquartered in Los Angeles, named Jessica MacDonald vice president of sales.
Based in Boston, MacDonald has over 20 years of experience specifically in student health. She most recently served as vice president of business development at Wellfleet, a student health insurance company. MacDonald has held other leadership roles at Anthem/Elevance as director of sales and strategic accounts, as well as positions at Aetna Student Health and Christie Student Health.
MacDonald will directly report to Michael Conway, who will take on the role of senior vice president at student insurance, with the entire division overseen by Alison Myers, executive vice president, Venbrook Benefits.
Conner Strong & Buckelew Names Leung as Head of Pharmacy
Conner Strong & Buckelew, headquartered in Camden, New Jersey, named Simon Leung, PharmD, to the newly created position of vice president and head of pharmacy. Leung oversees all aspects of the firm’s pharmacy business, including client engagement, pharmacy benefit managers and coalitions.
Leung most recently served as senior director of pharmacy client services at Rightway. He previously worked as regional pharmacy director at HUB International, clinical advisor for national accounts at CVS Health, and clinical pharmacist and marketing liaison at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
