People Moves: Donegal Promotes Landis; MEMIC Promotes Foote

Donegal Insurance Group, headquartered in Marietta, Pennsylvania, promoted Caleb Landis to assistant vice president of commercial lines systems development. Landis will be based out of Donegal’s home office in Marietta.

Landis succeeds Barb Doyle, who will retire in September as vice president of commercial lines systems. Doyle’s 38-year year insurance career includes the past three decades with Donegal.

Landis joined the Donegal team 11 years ago, as a web developer within the commercial lines team working under Doyle. He transitioned to the application integration team four years ago. Since then, Landis has served in various leadership capacities – most recently, as information services manager.

MEMIC Promotes Foote to VP of Claims

The MEMIC Group, headquartered in Portland, Maine, promoted Stacey Foote to vice president of claims.

Foote, who is based in New Hampshire, oversees MEMIC’s eastern region claims handling operation, including the Northeast, mid-Atlantic and Southeast territories.

Foote joined MEMIC in 2004, starting as a compensation specialist and steadily progressing through various leadership roles. She most recently served as director of claims for the Southeast and mid-Atlantic territories.
