Assurances Generales de France (AGF), a majority owned subsidiary of Germany’s Allianz, has signed an agreement with leading French Web service technology provider Fi SYSTEM to work on the insurer’s web site, OKassurance.com.
Fi SYSTEM will be responsible for setting up and operating the technical aspects of the site, and expanding its capabilities. AGF will offer primarily automobile insurance and homeowners coverage through the site, which will eventually provide claims and related services as well.
“The functions on the site will mean that clients will be provided with complete services including analysis, advice and intervention and all from within the site,” stated project manager Pierre Aoun.
Commenting on the agreement, OKasurance.com manager Martine Pauly-Lardenois offered a very Gallic comment, “The Internet will enable us to provide Internauts with innovative products. The service’s economic assets will undoubtedly seduce users.”
