ACE Bermuda Insurance Ltd., a subsidiary of ACE Limited, announced the promotion of Frank Lattal to Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary, responsible for all legal affairs.
Lattal will also take charge of managing the company’s consolidated Legal and Claim Departments in his new role as chief legal officer for ACE Bermuda. Mark Herman, President and CEO of ACE Bermuda, stated that, “During the past three years, Frank has played a significant role in Bermuda managing our litigation and claims.”
An experienced lawyer, Lattal spent 14 years in private practice in New York and New Jersey, specializing in tort and insurance law as a partner in the New Jersey law firm of Connell, Foley & Geiser, LLP.”He has spent most of his legal career counseling, litigating and arbitrating on behalf of insurers and their insureds in a variety of areas including property and casualty and professional liability. He is the co-author of a published insurance law treatise and is a frequent author and speaker on insurance law topics,” said the announcement.
