Bermuda-based Allied World Assurance Holdings, Ltd. announced the formal opening of the European headquarters of its subsidiary, Allied World Assurance Company (Europe) Limited, in Georges Quay, Dublin.
Mr. Charlie McCreevy TD, Ireland’s Minister of Finance, presided at the ceremony.
President and CEO Scott Carmilani stated, “The European market is a critical component of our longer term growth plans. This office now firmly establishes us as part of the international insurance market in Dublin from where we can continue to look for profitable opportunities throughout the European Union.”
