Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced the acquisition of FPE Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd. of Sydney, Australia. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
“First organized in 1993, FPE Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd. (FPE) is a full- service retail insurance broker offering risk management and commercial property/casualty insurance services to their clients in Australia,” said the announcement. “They also specialize in the placement of insurance for the entertainment sector. Fred Esteban, former director and principal of FPE, and his associates will join Arthur J. Gallagher Australasia Holdings Pty Ltd. and will report directly to Peter Kelly, Managing Director of Gallagher Australasia’s Corporate Services Division.”
President and CEO J. Patrick Gallagher commented: “The integration of FPE into our Australia operations will provide additional experience and resources to handle virtually all forms of commercial and corporate insurance for new and existing clients in the Australasia region. As such, they will be a solid contributor to our expanding international network. We are extremely pleased to welcome Fred and his team to our growing Gallagher family of professionals.”
