UK-based specialist underwriting agency DUAL Corporate Risks has appointed Christopher Blake as a Professional Indemnity Underwriter in the company’s National Business Unit. He was previously at Chartis where he spent four years in the financial lines team.
DUAL Corporate Risks said the appointment is in line with its “expansion into Information Technology for which DUAL has produced a dedicated Professional Indemnity, Public Liability and Products Liability form.”
The bulletin also noted that Blake “has built up specific expertise in this niche but growing sector. He already enjoys strong support from brokers in this arena and other areas of technical underwriting.”
Blake took up his new position on the 20th of June. He reports to the head of DUAL Corporate Risks’ National Business Unit, located in Manchester.
Jennifer Martin, Underwriting Director of DUAL Corporate Risks, commented: “Chris is a highly respected and popular professional and his appointment really strengthens our offering in the IT space. We are excited to have the depth of talent to take forward ambitious growth plans for the National Business Unit, which is our hub for regional business outside the London Market.”
