ClimateWise, the global insurance industry’s leadership group on climate change, announced that John R. Coomber, Swiss Re’s former CEO and now a member of the Board of Directors, will become the new Chairman of ClimateWise.
The organization focuses on reducing the risks of climate change. It was launched in 2007 by HRH The Prince of Wales, and facilitated by the University of Cambridge Program for Sustainability Leadership (CPSL).
The organization “brings together key players from the global insurance industry from Europe, North America, Asia and Southern Africa,” said the bulletin
