PERILS’ Final Windstorm Andrea Loss Cost is $438 Million

PERILS, the Swiss-based cat modeling firm, has announced that its fourth and final loss report for windstorm Andrea, which affected the UK and Western Europe from 4 to 5 January 2012, is estimated at €336 million [$437.5 million].

The final amount differs by €1 million from the third loss estimate of €337 million [$438.77 million], issued on 4 July 2012.

The “final loss estimate is again available in full resolution, i.e. by CRESTA zone and by the property sub-lines Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Agricultural,” said the announcement.
