Aon Risk Solutions, the global risk management business of Aon plc, announced that it has been selected by QET Tech Aerospace to provide liability coverage for the Mexico-based aviation company. Aon said its “customized aviation insurance solutions will provide protection for QET Tech Aerospace’s maintenance and repair organization.”
Marcos Shuster, leader of Aon Risk Solutions’ Aviation, Aerospace & Marine Practice noted that QET is launching “the largest maintenance and repair organization in Latin America,” thus increasing the need for additional coverage. He added that the “breadth of global resources and unmatched aviation expertise” at Aon would be able to provide the “level of comprehensive coverage needed for its operations and to empower results for their organization moving forward.”
QET Tech Aerospace is based in Sonora, Mexico. It’s been providing services to the international aviation industry since August 2008. “The company is privately owned by three investors and counseled by a board of advisors which includes former general managers from major airlines and aircraft manufacturers, and industry financial experts,” Aon noted.
