The Bermuda-based Argo Group International Holdings, Ltd. announced that Kurt Elia has joined the company as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. He Elia will report to Argo Group President and CEO Mark E. Watson III.
“Attracting, developing and retaining top talent is central to everything we do at Argo,” Watson said, adding that Elia’s “expertise in this area and his experience leading global human resources functions will greatly support our strategic objectives. We’re very excited to have him join our executive team.”
Elia formerly led the global human resources function at Endurance Specialty after serving in senior human resources positions at Citigroup, Capital One and IBM. He earned a degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University, and is also certified by Columbia University as an executive coach.
