ACE Nordics Promotes Engdahl, Adds Christensen in Financial Lines

ACE Group announced a promotion and a new appointment in its Nordic financial lines insurance team.

Kristina Engdahl has been promoted to the role of financial lines manager, Nordics. Engdahl will be responsible for the performance of ACE’s financial lines portfolio in the region with an emphasis on the development of the company’s directors and officers liability and commercial professional indemnity offerings.

Engdahl has 11 years of insurance industry experience. Prior to her appointment was senior underwriter of Financial Lines for ACE. She will be based in Stockholm and will report to Grant Cairns, regional manager, Financial Lines, for ACE in Continental Europe, and Bror Sandås, country president, ACE in the Nordics.

Jakob Christensen has been appointed to the positions of senior underwriter and manager for Financial Lines for ACE in Denmark. Christensen’s focus will be to develop ACE’s financial lines portfolio in Denmark, with an emphasis on professional indemnity for all the Nordics.

Christensen has 10 years of insurance industry experience. He joins ACE from Allianz where he was head of Financial Lines, Nordics. He will be based to Copenhagen and report to Kristina Engdahl.
