Endeavour Appoints Price to Drive Growth of U.S. & Canadian Specialist Business

October 2, 2015

London-based Endeavour Insurance Services* has appointed David Price as divisional director to drive further growth of the company’s specialist business across its U.S. and Canadian accounts.

Price’s role will be to work with Endeavour’s broking and producer support teams in developing its book of specialist insurance from agents within the U.S., Canada and Europe. His appointment underlines Endeavour’s plans to build and expand its expertise, and further consolidates its position as an independent producer of specialist delegated authority and open market business into the London market.

Price is former head of broker relations London and Europe at Beazley where he also held underwriting and broker management roles based in London and the U.S. He has 29 years of insurance experience, extensively with the Lloyd’s market and specializing in property, liability, casualty, cyber, professional, product recall, reinsurance, kidnap and ransom, and international liability classes, largely focused in North American markets.

“It is very exciting to be back on the broking side especially when there is limited choice of independently owned Lloyd’s brokers,” said Price, adding that to play a part in taking Endeavour to the “next stage of its development is very inspiring.”

David Lawrence, Chief Executive Officer of Endeavour, said: “David’s experience and expertise in creating solutions for hard to place business and products, across a wide spectrum of relevant classes in our core markets, is important to the growth of our business.”
