International General Insurance (UK) announced that it has appointed Christina Hall and Matthew Gosling to its Construction and Engineering team.
Hall joins from Inter Hannover, where she developed and grew a profitable construction and engineering book of business from scratch. She is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, and began her career in 1987. She will lead the Construction and Engineering team at IGI UK. Before joining Inter Hannover, she worked for Ajax, HSB Engineering and Allianz Cornhill Engineering.
Gosling has more than 10 years’ industry experience. He joins IGI from HSB Engineering, where he held the title of Underwriter, UK and International Construction and Engineering. Prior to that, he held underwriting positions with Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Insurance Company of Europe and Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty.
IGI UK CEO Andreas Loucaides commented: “Construction and Engineering are important pillars of the IGI business, and I am delighted that such talented professionals as Christina and Matthew have chosen to join our team in London.”
The bulletin also explained that International General Insurance Holdings Limited (IGIH) is registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre with operations in Bermuda, Jordan, Malaysia, Morocco, and London. The group recently reported net profits of $16.2 million in the first half of 2015 and shareholder equity of $279.3 million.
