Marketform, the specialist Lloyd’s insurer, announce it has appointed Sharon Long to its executive team as claims director.
Long’s appointment further strengthens the new leadership team that is driving the transformation of Marketform, the company said in a statement.
Long will join in August 2016 from XL Catlin, where she was director of claims and played a central role in the development of a sustained best-in-class claims service culture. She has over 25 years of claims experience within the London market and, prior to her 12 years with Catlin, held senior claims roles with AXA and Lloyd’s.
As claims director, Sharon will lead Marketform’s in-house team of senior claims professionals and use her experience and knowledge to support the development of an efficient and service-driven approach within the claims function.
“I am delighted to welcome Sharon to Marketform; she will play a key role in leading our claims function and will be an important member of our executive team,” said Martin Reith, chief executive officer, Marketform Managing Agency Ltd.
