MS Amlin Names RSA’s Vogiatzidou as Senior Marine Underwriter in Dubai

MS Amlin, the London-based re/insurer, announced the appointment of Mary Vogiatzidou to the role of senior marine underwriter.

Vogiatzidou will be based in MS Amlin’s Dubai office and will be responsible for the continued development and growth of the marine business across the MENA region. She reports to David Overall, senior executive officer, MS Amlin (MENA) Ltd.

Vogiatzidou brings more than 19 years of experience in both re/insurance and broking, with specialist expertise in the marine market, to the role. She most recently served as a senior hull underwriter in RSA Group’s marine division. Prior to this, Vogiatzidou served as a senior broker for marine and energy at Meridian Risk Solutions Ltd., based in London and Athens. She has also held roles as a marine and energy broker and reinsurance technician at Newman Martin and Buchan Ltd.

MS Amlin is part of the global top-10 insurance group MS&AD, with operations in the Lloyd’s, UK, Continental European and Bermudian markets.
