Brokerslink Bolsters Presence in Asia with Addition of 3 New Affiliates

July 8, 2019

Global broking business Brokerslink has bolstered its presence in Asia with the addition of three new affiliates in the region.

South Korean LK Insurance Services, Malaysia-based State Insurance Services and John Foord in Singapore have all joined the broking network, increasing Brokerslink’s capabilities and access to local expertise within the region.

LK Insurance Services is the fastest growing broking firm in Korea specializing in oil & gas, telecommunications, chemicals and logistics.

With over 40 years’ experience, State Insurance Services has relationships with more than one thousand clients, ranging from publicly listed companies, international companies, and large corporations and SMEs in Malaysia.

John Foord is a global specialist valuation and appraisal practice headquartered in Singapore with offices throughout Europe and Asia. Brokerslink said John Foord adds to its specialist risk consulting and insurance service business.

Commenting on the expansion Sid Garcia, regional manager, Asia Pacific said:

“The expansion of our network in Asia underlines our commitment to supporting independent brokers across the region. Asia’s economic might and influence on global trade is contrasted somewhat by its insurance penetration levels when compared to western Europe and North America, therefore we are pleased to be able to give our brokers and insurer partners the opportunity to access and unlock the vast potential of Asian insurance markets.”
