SCOR-Backed Channel Syndicate Taps Coulson from Lancashire as Senior Underwriter

Channel Syndicate, which is backed by reinsurer SCOR, has appointed Caroline Coulson as a senior underwriter on the political and credit risks team within SCOR Specialty Insurance, effective immediately.

Coulson started on March 23 and will report to Kade Spears, global line head of the political and credit risks team.

Coulson was previously a senior political risk underwriter at Lancashire Insurance where she was responsible for underwriting their contract frustration and political risks book. Before joining Lancashire in 2009, Coulson was a senior analyst at Aegis Defense Services. She began her career in 2001 working for a stock brokerage firm on Wall Street before starting in 2003 as an assistant vice president at Bermuda-based Sovereign Risk Insurance, a specialist political risk underwriting unit, which is part of Chubb.
